In short

Rommerce OS sets only the cookies it needs to work: one that keeps you signed in, one that protects forms against forgery, and - only if you tick "remember me" - one that keeps you signed in between visits. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers, which is why you are not asked for cookie consent.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser so that it can recognise the same browser on the next request. Without one, a site cannot keep you signed in from one page to the next.

2. The cookies we set

All of them are first-party cookies, set by Rommerce OS itself, and all are strictly necessary:

  • Session cookie - identifies your browser session so that you stay signed in while you move between pages, and remembers the language you chose on the public site. It expires after a period of inactivity or when you sign out.
  • XSRF-TOKEN - a security token that lets the application check that a form was really submitted from our own pages (protection against cross-site request forgery). It lives as long as the session.
  • "Remember me" cookie - set only if you tick "remember me" when signing in. It keeps you signed in between visits until you sign out.

These cookies contain random identifiers, not your name, e-mail address or password.

3. What we do not use

  • no advertising or retargeting cookies;
  • no third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics) and no tracking pixels;
  • no social-media plug-ins that set cookies.

Fonts on this site are loaded from Bunny Fonts, a European service that sets no cookies.

Under the ePrivacy rules (in Romania, Law no. 506/2004), consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary for a service the user asked for. We set none of those, so there is nothing to ask consent for. If we ever introduce optional cookies, we will ask first and update this page.

5. Payment pages

When you subscribe, card details are entered on a page hosted by our payment provider (Stripe or iyzico). Those pages belong to the provider and set their own cookies, mainly for fraud prevention, under the provider's own cookie policy.

6. How to control cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the cookies described above, you will not be able to sign in to Rommerce OS.

7. More information

How we handle personal data in general is described in the Privacy Policy. Questions: info@piemsoft.com.

Frequently asked questions

Which cookies does Rommerce OS use?

Why is there no cookie consent banner?
Consent is required only for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Rommerce OS sets no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking cookies, so there is nothing to ask consent for.
Does Rommerce OS use Google Analytics or advertising pixels?
No. There is no third-party analytics, no advertising cookie and no tracking pixel on the website or in the application.
